HONEY BEE POLLINATOR PROJECT

Save the Bees” Honeybee Pollinator Project is forming.  Help us raise awareness and the existence of pollinators.  Through education and  planting plants that feed our bees and butterflies, we help the environment.  We are starting to train the next generation of bee and butterfly stewards. You can ensure the well-being of our pollinator  population  by working with us on this important  project.

    GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY

    Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM CDT

Global Youth Service Day, a campaign of YSA (Youth Service America), mobilizes the millions of young people who improve their communities each day of the year through service.. Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world and is celebrated each year in over 100 countries. It is the only day of service dedicated to children and youth volunteers working together.  This year Gardenkids of Kemah will serve by doing a playground make over. Come out, spread mulch, and build benches.  After we are finished, we will play on the playground. You may even taste some fresh garden grown carrots or fruit too.
